About Me
Student and Maker
My name is Emilia Ellegaard and I am an undergraduate student and maker, experimenting and sharing my creative thought process. I have been making art out of cardboard and various materials to satisfy my need to experiment. I hope to share my creations with the world and possibly inspire others to experiment and become a maker.
About My Work
My creations range from miniature washing machines, giant cardboard saguaros, cameras, and even a Wall-E made out of cardboard. I enjoy using cardboard in unexpected ways to replicate products and create original ideas. More recently I have become fascinated in automatas and simple machines. Primarily, I work in cardboard, hot glue, and pva glue while making cardboard creations. I also use CA glue, paperclips, paper, popsicle sticks, and small wood scraps when making automatas.
Previous, published projects are displayed on my Instructables page and include entries to contests, such as the Growing Beyond Earth contest.
